Availability
Both GEO900 and ten30 luminaires are made to order and have a six-week delivery time from date of purchase.
Each luminaire is made just for you, not something just plucked off a shelf. We number and catalogue each product so you know it is an authentic Actualthing original, and so we can record when it was built and who built it for future reference. We supply each with a certificate of authenticity containing the product’s individual number and build information which we hope will be retained by you.
If we can reduce the six-week lead time we will of course inform you when you make your order or when we are nearer to delivery. We will contact you with an exact delivery time as soon as possible before the deivery date.
All Actual’s products are excusively available through this website.
This is because we feel to offer you the very best service, experience and products we should manage how Actualthing and it’s products are communicated, presented and sold. So that means you won’t find our products anywhere else but here at Actualthing.
Anything else will be a copy.
If this policy changes in the future it will be for reasons of quality and availability only, and we would let you know this change first.
Ordering/purchasing options
Option One: Online via actualthing.com
1. Select an Actualthing model (eg: GEO900 or ten30) from the online shop.
2. Select a version (eg: Walnut, Oak, Birch).
3. Using the shop tools to make your selection, delivery choice and check for any local taxes as prompted.
4. When you are ready please use a payment method from the options listed.
5. On receipt of payment we will issue a Confirmation of your order, your payment and an estimated delivery date.
6. Then we will begin build of your order. Please note there is a maximum 6-week build time as each product is made to order.
7. During the build time we will send you an update of progress and confirm a delivery date when available. We will send you an Order Shipped notification by email.
8. The shipper or courier will contact you directly to arrange an exact delivery date and time. Alternatively you can collect your order, or arrange collection from us if you prefer (please state this by email at the order stage).
Option Two: Via email
1. Select an Actualthing model (eg: GEO900 or ten30) from the shop.
2. Select a version (eg: Walnut, Oak, Birch).
3. Contact us via email at offlinesales@actualthing.com with your model/version selection and any requests. If ordering from outside the UK we can agree shipping.
4. We will confirm receipt of your selection and issue an invoice for payment.
5. On receipt of payment we will issue a confirmation of your order, payment and an estimated delivery date.
6. We begin build of your order. Please note there is a maximum 6-week build time as each product is made to order.
7. During the build time we will send you an update of progress and confirm a delivery date when available. We will send you an Order Shipped notification by email.

Option Three: Bespoke
1. Select an Actualthing model.
2. Send us your specification (material, colour, dimensions, application), as much information as possible.
3. We will send you an email with confirmation of reciept of your enquiry with our feedback, a feasibility study and any further suggestions from us.
4. When we have agreed on the scope with you, we will send you a confirmation of the order, and an invoice for payment.
5. As soon as payment is received we will begin the build of your order. We will have agreed on the timescale for a bespoke order in the previous step.
6. During the build time we will send you an update of progress and confirm a delivery date. We will send you an Order Shipped notification by email.
7. The shipper or courier will contact you directly to arrange an exact delivery date and time. Alternatively you can collect your order, or arrange collection from us if you prefer (please state this at the order stage).
Please note: In accordance with Actualthing’s Terms of Use, because our products are made-to order we do not accept returns after delivery. We will replace goods damaged damaged transit, but not for damage during installation.
