Andy Davey is an award-winning industrial designer with a masters degree from the Royal College of Art in London. His studio TKO has worked with many of the best companies around the world on successful products as diverse as musical instruments, automobiles, packaging and furniture. His inspiration for Actual and it’s products comes from his love of architecture, structures and materials that celebrate lightness, science and space. He is influenced by pioneers such as Buckminster Fuller, Charles and Ray Eames and Isamu Noguchi.
He is inspired by the harmony of science and nature, and how mathematical formula can be bought to life by natural materials and can produce amazing and dynamic outcomes.
